Revelation

I spoke with KK Collins, the new girl at White Elephants, today. It was cool to chat with her and I wish her lots of luck as she prepares to rescue her sister.

She revealed something to me about Ava's use of a mysterious liquid to remove the slender substance from a proxy's body and make them normal again that I missed. Well, Ava's liquid was Reach's blood. The blood of a Revenant. So this is lovely. We know what we can use but we have no Taben and no source of blood.

Ai, I think it's time we did what I suggested a few posts ago. I'm sure you recall my discussion with slendy on the making of Revenants and how he can use any proxy to channel the power of the Other Side. Well, I'm fairly certain, Ai, that you could do that to me. It might not last long since you don't have a huge amount of control over your powers, but if we can do it long enough to take some of my blood maybe we can use it to save Taben. I remember Ygg saying he couldn't make Revenants at all, but all you have to do is use me as a conduit for your power for a few minutes and the conditions will be right.

The other option is to goad It into sending a Revenant of Its own creation at us and try to subdue him or her long enough to take blood. That, however, sounds more dangerous than it's worth.

So yeah, now we know. It's definitely worth a shot and thanks so much to KK for suggesting it (wow...KK, your name reminds me of KK Slider from Animal Crossing...I am a nerd).

Now the only problem is finding Taben...

Yeah, wish us luck on that.

Edit:

I just finished looking over Ava, Jeff and Cheska, and Chester and Vivi's blogs. They all confirm what KK told me. This should be interesting.

  1. I guess, since I'm not tired and can't sleep anyways, I'll get to work on trying to find him early.

Thanks for looking into this information, I really appreciate it. Now, on to the search. And... well I'll see what I can do about figuring out what needs to be done with you. Ygg was much stronger than me by time he merged. I really don't like using this crap and prefer not to do anything with it.. but... if it's going to save Taben.

  2. As far as I can tell, this is the only way available to us of turning Taben normal again. J at Anomalous Data used Kainic Acid, a stimulant for the CNS, to attempt to make his subjects forget all about Slender Man, but it failed. So, unless we use blunt force trauma to make Taben forget he ever met slendy, we don't really have many other choices than the Revenant blood injection thing.

Actually, the final option is to offer myself or Chastin to slendy in a trade for Taben, just like he did for us. If all else fails then I'll give myself to him...

  3. OK, Malkin? Goading Slendy into sending people after you is a VERY bad idea. Also, eating a guy (as you mentioned in your other post) must've revitalized him, because he attacked me on the way to New York and only a little ingenuity (and my bizarre antitheft methods on my car) saved my ass. Keep that in mind, okay? No matter how much you might like him, he's a MONSTER who WILL kill us if we're not careful. Got me?

  4. What in the HELLS Malkin? No, just mother fucking no. You will NOT offer yourself. Never Ever EVER. I might have lost Taben, and it might be too late, but No. You are not going to do that! I will not allow it.

KK seems to be pretty intelligent. Listen to her advice. If you don't listen to me then for love of the Gods at least listen to her.

  5. Thanks for the compliment, Aiden. I'm just getting started in this shit, but some things even *I* know are a bad idea.

  6. You're welcome, and I'm sorry you got pulled into this crap. It's not a fun way to live and not the kind of life I would wish on my worst enemy. I'm not sure if I'd be able to do anything to help, but my door is always open. I'm always willing to do what I can for anyone that may need it.

  7. I'll keep that in mind. I'm in the middle of something big right now, but after it's done we should get together and talk about stuff.

  8. Alright. Good luck with it all. I hope to chat with you soon, my e-mail is in my profile should you ever want to talk to me.

  9. I'm sorry, Ai. It was just a thought...I just don't want Taben to lose himself because of this stupid truce. I knew slendy would betray us and now we might lose our friend...

The best option is for you, Ai, to make me into a Revenant temporarily. I'm sure you can do it.

KK, I promise I won't do anything reckless. I'm sorry for freaking you out. I'm just not sure what do to anymore.

  10. I'm not freaked out. I'm just giving advice. Here's another bit: DO NOT HAVE YOURSELF TURNED INTO A REVENANT. IT IS A VERY BAD IDEA. Okay? Okay. Trust me. If even *I* say it's a bad idea, you should probably stay away from it (says the girl who stands five feet from lightning strikes that could literally turn her to charcoal...)

  11. As long as Ai does it I'll be ok. I was considering letting slendy do it in exchange for my boyfriend a long time ago, but that's definitely out of the question now.

  12. Once again, KK giving great advice. I'm not about to do that. I don't even know HOW to. We'll just... we'll figure something out. Don't worry Mal. Things aren't really as bad as they seem.... I hope.

  13. I'll pitch in if I can, guys. Let me know if I can help.

  14. Ai, it won't be bad if you do it I swear. Look, as far as I know this is the only way we can stop Taben from becoming Hallowed out.

I'm fairly certain that all you have to do is channel your power through me. Revenants are just proxies that slendy has put some extra Other Side juice into (if that makes sense lol).

  15. mmmm, I dunno. I've got a lot to think on, hun. I need to think of every possible outcome, it's not easy.
